The U.S. Conference of Mayors is coming to Baltimore, Maryland for its next annual meeting. June 17-21.

Baltimore residents and their friends will be there to tell mayors to tell congress that it’s way past time to fund our communities and bring the war dollars home!

They’ll also support efforts of courageous mayors to pass a resolution saying as much during conference. More about that here and here.

Join with activists and community leaders from the Mid-Atlantic region in Baltimore for events around the mayors’ conference: a teach-in on June 17 from 6:30-8:30pm at the Inner Harbor, where local and regional grass-roots leaders will discuss how they would fund human needs in their communities and a Poor Peoples’ March and Rally on June 18 from noon-2pm, featuring a march from St. Vincent de Paul Church to the Inner Harbor ending in a rally.
